Compared to the previous model this mp3 walkman has some good points and some bad points. The main advantages of this player are the removal of the copy protection system, more user friendly layout of the controls and the improved screen readability. On the down side the player is roughly twice the size of the old one, the controls are more easily bumped (meaning HOLD must be engaged if you put it in your pocket) and there's no way to display the date and time.
Syncing music through window media player is a breeze (in both directions) and the addition of voice recorder might be useful for some.
Audio quality is good but there is no improvement over the last version save for the inclusion of bass boost for those who like plenty of bottom end. |

| My opinion on this product is.....i cant beleive im saying this, but....buy an iPod. Because unfortunately MAC somehow got it right. |
Problems: I have the same problem as the users in the above reviews....but in english. I plugged this little sucker into my pc and started syncing it.
Then being the only device/process operating at the time, it pushed my CPU to 100% & crashed my PC. So dirty!
Then after a hard reboot it wouldnt recognise it.
So i got the device, i plugged it in, downloaded WMP 11, spent an hour selecting music to sync, then it crashed the PC.
So unfortunately i cant comment on how it sounds or the functionality, because i didnt even get that far before i realised just how s*&^ this player is. |

| Me parece malo que un mp3 no traiga un programa de instalacion cuando todos siempre traeun aunque este automatizado a veces es necesario de estes, y aunque trae un manuela de inmstalacion el pc no me lo reconoce, solo eso. |

I bought this device because:
- I wanted it to function like a usb storage device, thus making it easy to save mp3 files to the device without opening software like itunes etc.
- I wanted to listen to audio books and podcasts in a noisy environment.
Neither of the two things are possible.
- At first it seems to functions like a storage device when you connect it. But unlike a proper storage device, it's not possible to save directly to the device from your browser. I tried clicking "save target as", and I can actually see the folders on the mp3 player, but when i click OK, a message box appears "You can't save here, please choose another location". And this happens for all the folders on the device. So I have to save to a temporary folder on my c: drive and THEN move it to the mp3 device. That's bloody ridiculous! I might as well have bought an iPod then. But there's more: Because this is not really a proper storage device, you cannot connect it to any PC. If you have an exotic operating system, like windows server 2008, it fails to connect completely.
- I can't listen to my audio books or my podcasts in a noisy environment, because the maximum volume is really low. So I can only use it when I'm home. That's what I call portable! |

I have this mp3 player and i really like it because it has everything that i needed.also it has very appropriate price.
the most interesting point about this layer is sound quality.
if you looking for high sound quality with wonderful bass sony b152f is the best choice. |
